Saint Luke's is launching a new program for individuals seeking to grow their career in health care as a surgical technician with paid training.
The program is now accepting applications for the first cohort, which is set to begin in January 2025.
The 30-week paid program consists of 15 weeks of formal curriculum under the direction of a full-time instructor, and 15 weeks of clinical experience with an assigned preceptor.
Candidates selected for the program will receive an offer for a full-time position as a surgical technician at one of Saint Luke's four metro hospitals upon successful completion of the program.
