(neonate to geriatrics) this includes but is not limited to preparation of surgical supplies, instruments and equipment on the sterile field, and assisting the surgeon during procedures. + Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. + Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department. **Education and/or Experience** + Post high school graduate of a surgical technologist program. + Actual scrubbing experience during technologist program is preferred. **Licensure/Certification/Registration** + Must have certification as a surgical technologist or be eligible to write the certification exam with the goal of completion of certification. + Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. **Work Schedule** + Monday - Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks + Occasional weekend (On call one weekend per month) + Occasional holiday (On call 1 holiday per year) + Occasional call time (On call one day per week and one weekend per month) + Day shifts **Pay** The hourly range for this position is listed below.
