Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST to join our OPERATING ROOM team!The Surgical Technologist is responsible for planning and organizing supplies, instruments and equipment for surgical procedures. Promotes education of self, peers and students. Collaborates with all surgical team members to assure the safe and efficient passage of a patient through surgery. Responsible for his/her activities that can interact with, collaborate with, cause, or result in an effect or consequence to or with other practitioners in the surgical environment.
Hours: Occasional status, varied shifts as needed
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of surgical standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a surgical technologist program or related field and/or three or more years of related experience in the operating room.Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program.Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist beneficial.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital campus offers the best in health care services, including advanced medical imaging, high-tech surgical services a state-of-the-art birthing center, comprehensive women's health services and 13,000 square-foot cancer center equipped with the latest technology, rivaling those of hospitals located in major cities.
