Position Summary: The Surgical Technologist performs a variety of orthopedic/pain cases in the surgery center and will cross-train in the main hospital surgery unit, as a member of the surgical team. This role scrubs on all types of cases performed, prepares for cases by picking case supplies, set-up and maintenance of sterile field, and helps with room turnover. This role may also function as a surgeon’s second assistant. Shifts vary depending on case volume.
