Get to Know Your Team: Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management, offering state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology.. Responsibilities Help set up the operating room and organize the sterile table with surgical instruments and equipment, sterile linens, and sterile solutions. Understand sterile aseptic technique and demonstrates knowledge of basic care preparation including knowledge of supplies and equipment relevant to the specific procedure. Understand the surgical procedures and effectively anticipates the 's needs, surgeon's needs passing instruments and providing sterile items efficiently. Work well within a team, demonstrate flexibility, and willing to assist others and perform departmental tasks needed. Work within the AORN and AST guidelines Clean and restock the operating room. Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of a Surgical Technology program, equivalent training as an LPN, or five years of experience in scrubbing operative procedures. Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT) Preferred Job Requirements: Two years of clinical practice
