The Opportunity: The Surgical Technician provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the RN. The Surgical Technician assists in the patient care, anticipating patient family eds in a proactive fashion. The Surgical Technician individualizes and modifies care according to the patients needs and collaborates with other healthcare employees to enhance the provision of patient care. The Surgical Technician assumes a multi-skilled role, performing clinical and surgical functions that serve as an integral member of the primary patient care team.
Position Details: We are hiring a Surgical Tech for our Float Pool. This position will float between all 4 main hospital locations. Our locations include Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North land, and Plaza areas. Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance. This is a full-time day shift position: 40 hours a week- 4 days a week at 10 hour shifts.
