We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As the Surgical Tech OB PRN you will deliver high quality, patient centered care in a variety of services. You will be versatile, efficient and effective in maintaining competent care delivery throughout our Women’s Services areas. Our team is amazing and we consider ourselves a family, we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role: What will you do in this role: + You will set up and manage instruments, equipment, and supplies for all surgical procedures + You will be responsible for maintaining a sterile field while passing instrumentation during an invasive procedure + You will perform appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed + You will assist in patient positioning, transporting, and obtaining needed equipment + You will clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization + You will assist in prepping room for the next patient **What qualifications you will need:** + Graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technologist or Certificate of Completion of the Operating Room Specialist Course from the Military is required + A Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is strongly preferred + A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required + One to two years of OR experience is preferred **Doctors Hospital of Augusta** has provided quality healthcare services since 1973.
