Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.** Spencer Hospital Surgery Center performs a multitude of specialties including: general, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, and endoscopy averaging 550+ surgeries per month. Surgery business hours are Mon-Fri with minimal on call weekend and holiday rotations. **Responsibilities:** + Responsible for handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure + Maintain the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure, and to be constantly vigilant in the maintenance of the sterile field + Responsible for procedures related to cleaning, sterilizing, and assemble of equipment, supplies and instruments for use in medical and surgical interventions **Requirements:** + Graduate of an approved Surgical Tech program.
