Surveillance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY


The Surveillance Manager is responsible for managing employees in the Surveillance Department and is responsible accountable for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Surveillance unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Gaming Commissions policies & procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, discipline, addressing complaints and resolving problems.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(other duties may be assigned)

Monitors performance of subordinates ensuring adherence to Commission and Tribal Policies and Procedures Oversees the schedules of Surveillance Personnel Responsible for safeguarding all tribal gaming assets. Coordinates efforts as well as an open line of communication with Security Directors, Gaming Agents, and Compliance and Internal Audit Departments Prepares reports as necessary, reviews all reports, maintains files May participate in initial stage of investigations Maintains positive staff/management relations May performs functions of subordinate positions as required Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining SOPS for the Surveillance Department including training procedures. Other delegated tasks that may be assigned by the Executive Director none
