THE JOB:
The Surveillance Operator fosters a collaborative environment where the Surveillance team supports partner departments in delivering exceptional service to guests. They help ensure a fair, safe, and secure gaming experience for both customers and employees by upholding company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.

THE STARTING RATE:$20.00

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Operate advanced closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to monitor and review casino activities, archive audio and video evidence, and ensure proper system functionality.

Actively oversee all casino areas and personnel—including Casino Cage, Count, Sportsbook and Slots to enforce policies and procedures, detect suspicious behavior, and prevent fraud and theft.

Conduct thorough video reviews and document incidents such as guest complaints, procedural errors, risk management concerns, player evaluations, theft, and financial discrepancies.

Continuously enhance knowledge of game rules, company policies, procedures, and emerging security threats through ongoing training and professional development.

Collaborate with local Gaming Authorities and assist law enforcement agencies as needed, including providing testimony in legal proceedings.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Surveillance operations and sensitive company information.

Analyze data using specialized software to identify trends, detect irregularities, and investigate potential security risks.

Work closely with leadership to uphold security standards while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

In-depth understanding of Slots, Race & Sports Book, and Casino Cage operations.

Familiarity with advantage play techniques and cheating methods.

Strong knowledge of local gaming regulations and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in basic math calculations without the use of a calculator.

Ability to accurately distinguish colors.

Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.

Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills.

Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Has at least one year of experience working in surveillance (casino experience preferred)
