THE JOB:

Become a part of the excitement at New York New York as a Surveillance Operator! In this key role, you’ll collaborate with partner departments to help deliver unforgettable guest experiences while ensuring a fair, safe, and secure environment for everyone. Uphold our commitment to excellence by enforcing company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations, and play a vital role in promoting accountability throughout our world-class operation.

STARTING RATE: $24 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

CCTV & Monitoring: Operate CCTV and Digital Video Management System (VMS) to monitor casino activities, detect suspicious behavior, and ensure policy adherence across all areas, including Table Games, Slots, Poker, and more.

Advanced Tools & Data Analysis: Utilize advanced tools like facial recognition, license plate recognition, and access control systems to monitor activity. Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies.

Regulatory Compliance & Training: Stay up to date with gaming regulations, game rules, and company policies through ongoing training and development.

Player Evaluations & Collaboration: Evaluate players for suspicious activity or advantage play and collaborate with leadership and authorities to enhance guest experiences and maintain security.

Non-Gaming Monitoring: Assist in monitoring non-gaming areas as directed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Age: Must be 21 years old or older.

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience is required.

Surveillance Experience: Familiarity with Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) technology, with relevant experience monitoring casino activities to ensure compliance with established protocols.

Gaming Knowledge: Strong understanding of casino operations, including Table Games, Slots, Poker, and Casino Cage protocols, with the ability to identify suspicious behavior and prevent fraud and theft.

Comfort in Work Environment: Ability to work in a confined or communal environment, remaining seated for the majority of the shift, while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
