THE JOB:
Step into a dynamic leadership role as a Surveillance Shift Supervisor at Park MGM! In this key position, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the surveillance department, leading a team to ensure effective monitoring of casino activities. Your role will be essential in identifying suspicious behavior, managing video evidence, and working closely with internal departments and external agencies to maintain security and regulatory compliance. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Monitoring & Oversight: Actively observe gaming and casino floor operations to detect procedural errors, potential cheating, or suspicious activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and gaming regulations.
Supervision & Leadership: Lead and manage surveillance staff during assigned shifts, ensuring thorough video documentation, reviewing reports, and providing guidance on casino games, security protocols, and proper procedures.
Communication & Coordination: Maintain clear and professional communication with Pit Managers, Casino Shift Managers, and other department supervisors regarding procedural violations, security concerns, and necessary follow-ups.
Incident Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and review reports detailing observed infractions, notify appropriate parties, including Gaming Control Board if necessary, regarding criminal acts, and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.
Shift Management & Scheduling: Maintain shift schedules, oversee daily operations, and ensure proper coverage of surveillance monitoring areas while addressing any technical or operational challenges.
Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance: Report any surveillance equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel and ensure all systems are operational for continuous monitoring and recording.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Minimum Age: Must be 21 years of age or older.
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
Experience: 1+ yeard of relevant experience in casino surveillance or table games within a casino/hotel environment.
Schedule Requirements: Must be available to work the graveyard shift (12:30 AM – 8:30 AM), including weekends and holidays.
