The Surveillance Technician I is responsible for the maintenance and overall up keep of all surveillance equipment and alarm systems.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Maintain an inventory of CCTV equipment and be liaison with Equipment Supplies for obtaining bids and purchases.Participate in installation, movement, and removal of surveillance related equipment to assure gaming protection and internal controls for gaming regulations.Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state and internal regulations.May be asked to be call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergency surveillance equipment malfunctions.Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.Repair and maintain CCTV equipment used for surveillanceOther duties as assigned.

 

Skills to Help You Succeed:

Knowledge of hand tools and electronic testing devices.Ability to write technical statements.Ability to read simple instructions and schematic diagrams.Ability to do dome troubleshooting.Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.Good communication skills.Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment. Qualifications

Must-Haves:

Two (2) year Electronic Degree is preferred or equivalent experience in CCTV, electrical maintenance and repair.One (1) to three (3) years’ experience with installation, repair, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of CCTV digital equipment.You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend, reach, kneel and twist.Excellent hearing and vision.Must be able to work in a confined space for long periods.Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Must have the manual dexterity to operate surveillance equipment and other related equipment.Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service equipment.Use of stairs and elevators
