Job Description
This CAD position is ideal for candidates with entry-level to intermediate experience. The candidate will assist the survey team and report directly to a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. The position involves providing CAD support in the analysis and preparation of boundary, planimetric, and topographic surveys.
ResponsibilitiesProcess survey data daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and professional industry standards.Conduct deed research, deed plotting, and map checks.Prepare survey plats and drawings, legal descriptions, and alignment drawings.Ensure schedules and productivity objectives set by the supervisor for survey plat and drawing preparation are met.Essential Skills1-5 years of Survey CAD Tech experienceProficiency in AutoCADProficient in technical math, including Geometry and TrigonometryAssociate's Degree or equivalent experience with a High School/GEDAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Civil 3DLand Development experienceWork Environment
Work in a smaller office with about 35-40 employees. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with flexible hours, typically 40-50 hours per week. The environment is very collaborative with a family feel, offering a variety of projects in both the private and public sectors. There is room for growth with potential for new roles within a few years and annual bonuses. Training in Civil 3D will be provided if needed. Most work will be done in the office, with hybrid work options available for candidates with 5+ years of experience who require no training.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
