Position Summary: Responsible for the overall completion of the data processing phase of specific field survey projects.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Performs topographic plotting, terrain modeling, plat preparation, note reduction and design file generation Perform office survey activities in accordance with Minimum Standards of Practice for Surveying Perform property owner and utility records research Operate and supervise the use of all survey equipment including electronic data collectors, levels, electronic total station, GPS and survey vehicles. Performs office computations necessary for the completion of task assignments including QA/QC. Tracks job progress Completes data collector maintenance Coordinates information for stakeout services Analyzes raw data for mathematical closure and geometric accuracy Prepares finished grade sheets, topographic maps, records of survey, corner records and other survey reports Communicates the daily progress of the crew towards the project goals and/or accomplishments with the office staff
