Located in Indianapolis, IN- We are seeking two dedicated Survey Crew Chiefs to join our team. In this role, you will perform construction layouts, as-built surveys, topographic surveys, and boundary surveys. After the initial nine-month contract period, you will also conduct ALTA surveys. You will work with an Instrument Operator in a two-person crew and occasionally work solo in a one-person crew. The projects will primarily be commercial, industrial, multifamily residential, and institutional, with minimal residential work. You will use Trimble equipment, including GPS base and rover units, VRS networks, robotic total stations, digital level, TSC7 data collectors, and TBC processing software.

You will work outside in the field on survey projects, traveling from home to the job site daily. Minimal overnight travel is required (no more than 5-7 nights, typically one night at a time). Most projects are located in Central Indiana, and you must live within a reasonable commuting distance (60 minutes) of the office in Indianapolis. Work hours typically start around 7:30 AM, with potential for earlier starts in summer. The current crew chiefs average 45-50 hours per week, with occasional peaks up to 55 hours. There is a Saturday rotation, with one Saturday per month, and the schedule is posted quarterly. You will have autonomy in your role and will come into the office as needed to meet with project managers and other team members. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00
