CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Survey Crew Chief - Central/Eastern Connecticut to join our Infrastructure - Transportation & Survey Team at our office in Hartford, CT.

Our approach includes a variety of tools and skillsets from boots on the ground to advanced measurement technology including the use of drones. The Survey Crew Chief - Central/Eastern Connecticut is responsible for using their thorough surveying knowledge to lead the field crew through assigned survey tasks. This individual will be measured on flexibility and ability to complete assigned tasks. The professional in this role is responsible for field crew activities including implementing and adhering to prescribed quality assurance measures and providing professional representation to clients while working at project sites. The Survey Crew Chief - Central/Eastern Connecticut will perform record research, construction stakeout, topographic, transportation, and utility surveys utilizing total stations, data collectors, and GPS. The professional in this role is expected to be familiar with the company’s safety, field, and office procedures. Additionally, duties of the Survey Crew Chief - Central/Eastern Connecticut also include performing all field calculations pertaining to traversing, map interpretation, and layout.
