The role:

The Survey Supervisor (ROC) will be responsible for the successful execution of survey workscopes from the Remote Operations Centre (ROC), ensuring availability of resources to conduct operations and provide technical support and assistance as required to vessels across the region. Located in Aberdeen, Fugro's Remote Operations Centre provides a centralised resilient location with direct access to offshore projects 24/7. The role operates on a 12-hour shift on a 3 week rotational basis.

Who we’re looking for:

Reporting directly to the Remote Operations Centre Manager the Survey Supervisor will liaise with the ROC Superintendent and work with ROC staff, Offshore staff, Project Managers, Clients, Project Teams and third-party suppliers to oversee effective and efficient completion of project work scopes. Additionally, they may be expected to collaborate with other Remote Operations Centres, Innovation teams and key suppliers globally.

The Survey Supervisor will actively support the continuous improvement of remote operations, identifying opportunities, developing business justifications, testing, and creating documentation to be incorporated into the body of knowledge.

Supports and communicates company and regional strategy and objectives.Contributes to and ensures compliance with legislation, industry best practice and company procedures.Ensures preventative maintenance, business continuity, emergency response and QHSSE systems and processes are known and adhered to.Takes appropriate steps to ensures cost-effective and efficient project operations through the management of resources and monitoring of system performance.Provides relevant communications at all levels of the business.Contributes and develops project and supporting documentation.Conducts QC for project workflows.Ensures the successful and timely completion of client deliverables.Configures navigation systems for project operations and provides technical support.Contributes to the development of a positive working environment.
