Job Description
Surveying subsidiary for a major residential construction firm is looking for a Survey Technician to bridge between field and office staff. This role will perform checks and verification of plan and field data, comps for field crews, and production of cutsheets. Primary responsibilities include communication with field and office staff, other departments (engineering/planning), clients, and management. The candidate must be strong in AutoCAD. This is primarily an office role with the expectation to help support the field when needed. Responsibilities include processing field data, supporting survey crews, preparing land development stakeout files, scheduling field crews, assisting in proposal preparation (takeoffs/time estimates), preparing survey worksheets for ALTA/boundaries, preparing commercial stakeout files, and the ability to troubleshoot/perform minor design modifications.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position with some field work and majority office work in Kirkland, Washington.
Work Environment
Working out of Kirkland Toll Brothers office. The candidate will work with a small team on the client side but will interact with Toll Brother team members. Even though they are their own company, they are treated as client employees. Direct managers do not sit locally but will interact daily. There is currently one surveyor in the field.
