Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to perform a variety of land surveying tasks, including topographic surveys, construction staking, boundary surveys, and more. The ideal candidate will prepare field sketches and notes, operate survey equipment, and prepare construction cut sheets. This role involves transferring files between data collectors and office PCs.
ResponsibilitiesPerform land surveying work, including topographic surveys, construction staking, boundary surveys, and other various types of surveys.Prepare detailed field sketches and field notes.Operate survey equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors.Prepare construction cut sheets.Transfer files between data collectors and office PCs.Essential SkillsProficiency in surveying techniques and practices.Experience with Trimble, GPS, topographic surveys, and total stations.Knowledge of Civil 3D software.Associates degree in Civil Technology or a related field.Experience surveying in the field.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and team collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.Work Environment
The position involves fieldwork, which may include varying weather conditions and terrain. The role requires the use of surveying equipment and technology, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors. The work environment is dynamic and may involve both outdoor and office settings. Appropriate attire for fieldwork is required.
