At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, A Sushi Chef must be highly skilled for operation the sushi section of the kitchen to deliver an excellent guest and member experience while planning production and preparing sushi dishes in accordance with food health & safety regulations and restaurant standards.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Sushi Chef, you are responsible for preparing traditional sushi rice, chopping, slicing and filleting different kind of fish, and placing orders for supplies as needed. Also, a Sushi Chef should be able to customize guest orders according to preferences and food allergy regulations. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nEnsure that all the ingredients (fruits, vegetables, fish, meats) used to prepare the dishes are of the highest quality.\nEnsure consistency in quality of dishes at all times\nMaintain a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination\nWork according to the specifications given by the Head Sushi Chef\nPrepare in advance food, material and equipment needed for the service\nReport to manager on duty any problems with the kitchen equipment\nCommunicate with waiters/waitresses to make sure that all the special allergy requests are met\n
