We are seeking a senior sustainability specialist with practical experience in the Carbon Management, Sustainability Reporting and Sustainability-related standards to develop and delivery our advisory services.

 

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

 

Deliver current advisory services related to carbon management standards and guidelines, including ISO 14064-1:2018, ISO 14067:2018, ISO 14068:2023, and GHG protocols. This also includes providing guidance on sustainability reporting frameworks and standards such as GRI, CDP, CSRD, as well as other sustainability-related standards like LCA, EPD, and ISCC. Analyze, guide, and support clients in developing greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory reports and implementing mitigation strategies that comply with Vietnamese regulations and international laws. Advise clients on developing carbon offset projects in accordance with international carbon credit mechanisms such as CDM, Act 6.4, VCS, GS, and others. Assist clients in formulating their sustainability strategies and generating ESG reports based on local regulations or market mechanisms tailored to their specific needs. Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and advise clients on generating Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). Design new advisory services focused on carbon management and sustainability reporting, including advisory plans and materials that align with market trends. Perform validation and verification of GHG inventory reports, carbon footprint studies, and carbon neutrality declarations. Participate in assurance services for sustainability reports. Keep clients updated on sustainability knowledge and support improvements in their management systems toward sustainable development. Execute other tasks as assigned by the Sustainability Manager.

 

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

A Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, or equivalent. With at least 4-5 years of professional experience in Carbon Management/ESG reporting. Practical experience with Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015), ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor is a plus. Practical knowledge of Carbon management, Off-setting project, and Sustainability reporting & disclosure. Experience working with GHG inventory databases/ Life cycle assessment (LCA) software/ Sustainability standards/frameworks. Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Advanced knowledge of Carbon management and Sustainability reporting Proficiency in carbon footprint calculation/LCA tools and software Expertise in organizational and product environmental impacts assessment Strong data analysis and interpretation skills Familiarity with international carbon reporting/sustainability reporting frameworks Comfortable with presentations and interactive training methods Occasional travel for on-site advisory Proficiency with digital training platforms and presentation technologies
