Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Establish Center of Excellence for Design for Sustainability within KLA’s Global Product Group organizationManage comprehensive energy audits and assessments on KLA products and sub systemsBuild database of best practices/design as well as component selection guide for improving the energy efficiency of KLA’s subsystems and overallEnsure designs and product installations comply with efficiency 
standardsAnalyze energy consumption data across various product familiesOptimize energy usage in KLA Product and Sub-systems under various conditions and settingsPerform energy audits. Use findings to suggest upgrades and retrofitsAnalyze energy consumption data across various product familiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into product design, manufacturing, and operations.Work with Engineering and Program Managers to establish Energy Efficiency targets for new product development in correlation with meetings KLA’s published SBTi targetsWhen working with product groups on new product development, recognize opportunities for reduction of GHG and proliferate those opportunities to other new KLA products where applicable.Develop and implement sustainability initiatives and projects to reduce environmental impact of KLA productMonitor and report on sustainability metrics and progress towards goals.Research and stay updated on sustainability trends, technologies, and regulations that may impact KLA product development in the futureProvide technical support and guidance on sustainability-related issues.Prepare and present sustainability reports to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.Proven experience in sustainability engineering or a similar role.Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in sustainability software and tools.

Base Pay Range: $154,900.00 - $263,300.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA
