**Overview**
**What You’ll Be Doing**
Cadmus’ sustainability work directly supports government, corporate, and non-profit organizations seeking to achieve climate mitigation, climate resilience, energy, and sustainability goals. Sustainability interns will support a variety of projects and tasks across climate, energy, and environment domains; this may include helping federal agencies mitigate the effects of climate change and supporting state-level clients with resilience and clean energy efforts.
The Sustainability / Climate Intern opportunity is a 10-week paid Internship beginning June 2025. Interns will be assigned to our Arlington, VA office.
This position will be a hybrid with three days in the office, two days remote.

**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct policy analysis and research on sustainability topics under the direction of a project manager and working in collaboration with other team members
+ Support stakeholder outreach, coordination, and communication; support the development and conduct of multiple types of events, including stakeholder workshops, training seminars, and large-scale client meetings; support research, administration, and logistics for events
+ Collect data and information to prepare reports, assessments, and analytical materials
+ Work with clients to perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling, organizing meetings, and taking notes
+ Write, edit, and proofread documents or sections of documents, such as technical reports
**Qualifications**
+ Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate degree program
+ Interest and foundational knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
+ Client and stakeholder outreach, engagement, and communications
+ Policy analysis, development, assessment, and evaluation
+ Qualitative and quantitative analysis across climate, energy, environmental, buildings, transportation, and environmental justice domains
+ Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and adapting to changes in a time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace
+ Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
+ Initiative and ability to self-direct on assignments
+ Proficient in MS Office applications
+ Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.
**Additional Information:**
Interns are eligible toparticipatein the Cadmus 401(k) program if they are 21 years or older.
The hourly rate for this position will depend on the student's degree level. For undergraduate students the hourly rate is $25 and for graduate students it is $30.
