Overview The role will be serving as the key central connection point to ensure continued performance progress against our pep+ goals. He/she plays a key role in bringing a sustainability lens to long-term corporate strategic planning and key business processes, ensuring that sustainability is always embedded into the fabric of what we do as a company aligning with the Sustainability office strategy. This role would work closely with the Supply Chain Lead in each markets, Indochina SC Lead, NA SC lead, PhilMAPS SC lead and Indoneisa Quaker team and other internal and external mangers across functions to drive the PEP+ Sustainability agenda in Asia Bevs & GMD BU to support the delivery of WWP PEP+ goals. Responsibilities Sustainability management Lead the development and management of AOP and PEP+ agenda to support the delivery of AOP targets and progress on Roadmap Work closely with JV/Bottler’s Sustainability Leads and Ops & GP Leadership to align on the PEP+ agenda Own the development and communication of strategic sustainability plans including; glidepath and SDD Ensure timely reporting of sustainability key metrics and actions as well as developing contingency plans to resolve any risks to plan Establish Recon training program and priorities within PepsiCo & JVs/Bottlers SC teams. Collaborate with the Sector Sustainability office for the development and sharing of BU sustainability scorecards, action plans, etc. and drive the development of tools to support improvement in key opportunity areas Provide coaching and mentoring of JVs/Bottlers Sustainability leads and SC leadership team to facilitate effective implementation programs at all sites Drive and manage pep+ agendas regarding business and activities across Asia BU, including project progression, AOP achievement, WWP PEP+ Deliverables. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop and manage pep+ align with sector annual strategy calendar, with input from Asia Bev and GMD BU leads and other cross functional sections Collaborates with the Sector / Business Unit (BU) Functional Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for the implementation of Best Practice Operation tools to JV’s and Franchise Units to enhance the bottlers' capability to run effectively and efficiently their operations. Act as stage gate of innovative external focus to affect sustainable change and implement with Company agenda Ensure deployment and sustainence of PepsiCo Best Practice Tools (BPT) through reviews, refreshers and also regular plants visits and audits. Project-based management Initiate the project aligning with the Sector to drive visibility of PEP+ agenda Act as the owner to the project by identifies the project's goals, objectives, and scope and creates a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required. Follow up on information requests from the sector and BUs Capability Strong writing skills and ability to synthesize niche information with ,multi-functioned skill Team-oriented, ability to network and build rapport with colleagues across different cultures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field 10+ years of experience in manufacturing required Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project Solid knowledge of Sustainability initiatives and track record of leading the agenda at regional level Strong influence management and communication skills, ability to gain organizational buy-in. Ability to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously. Presenting and Communicating Information – Ability to handle data and present the analysis in a way which is easy to understand Cross-cultural communication – experience working with teams from different cultural backgrounds Ability to manage up – experience working with internal stakeholders ranging from senior leadership to entry level associates Driving for quality results – Ability to execute on deadline, eye for quality and detail Ability to interface effectively with plant personnel, outside contractors and different functional groups within the business units. Working knowledge of quality systems, finance, capital planning, and project cost tracking and forecasting, economic justification analysis, statistical process control, and manufacturing management systems. Demonstrated visible leadership in influencing stakeholders / bottlers for driving PepsiCo agenda. Experience in implementing TPM initiatives across multiple teams is preferred. Strong innovative external focus with proven ability to affect sustainable change. Team capability – forms strong working relationships with colleagues and suppliers; utilises available resources effectively to achieve the best possible outcome. Experience in leading the Sustainability agenda(Recon: Water & Energy) at regional level(pre FOF structure) Ability to give and receive constructive feedback Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making Must be very effective working in a volatile and complex environment and work with a sense of urgency that drives effective results
