Job Summary

To manage and drive the implementation of Allianz Malaysia’s Sustainability Positioning Strategy in creating positive sustainability ("ESG") positioning in the Malaysia contexts.

 

Key Responsibilities

To govern, to align, to facilitate and to monitor the implementation of Sustainability Strategic Positioning related initiatives in ensuring the short, mid and long term targets are actualised across the organisation. Thereby improve market positioning and branding which ultimately translate to the improvement of both employee and customer Net Promoter Score of the organisation. Serve as the governance point to manage and to drive Sustainability Culture, Engagement & Branding initiatives and any other related initatives/projects identified within the organisation or by the management. Ensure initiatives/projects are rightly kick-off with defined scope, deliverables and timeline. Stakeholders engagement, management and mobilisation (inclusive of external stakeholders) are part of the responsibility.  To innovate, to drive and to inculcate sustainability culture across the organisation and relevant stakeholders within the industrial ecosystem i.e. business intemediaries, vendors, communities. This includes but not limited to; facilitate capacity building programs, ESG awareness campaigns, sustainability integrated thinking workshops, relevant publicity initiatives internally and externally; together with business owners within the organisation.    To monitor and analyse sustainability strategic positioning performance & highlights irregularity to management. Thereby, to establish preventive/corrective actions to ensure achievement.  Assist management to steer industrial research, analysis and benchmarking on sustainability positioning strategy, business model and targets for strategy formulation and performance setting. Assist management the development, maintainance & implementation of the local Sustainability Framework covering sustainability strategy, sustainability positioning, business opportunities identification & integration as and when needed.   Other assisgnments as deem necessary.

 

Key Requirements :

 

Minimum a bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, branding & marketing or relevant. Sustainability qualification is an advantage. At least 10 years of relevant working experience on strategic public relations, brand positioning & communications planning & culture transformation implementation with in-depth knowledge of insurance industry.     Strategic sustainability (ESG) projects facilitation and management experience is an advantage. Knowledge in sustainability (ESG) cultural transformation and reporting is an advantage. Resilience to undertake challenges and be challenged. Agile & growth mindset with strategic and business acumen. Excellent in communication, organisation, analysis, and project planning & management skills. A good team player with strong interpersonal skill. Able to work with diverse workforce in leveraging their best performance.
