JOB SUMMARY:
Sustainability at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (WSI) encompasses our environmental and social initiatives. In this position, you will be focused primarily on our social initiatives and will be involved in a wide array of projects, which will include action on licensing, research on social compliance risk and traceability.
An ideal candidate should have an interest in creating business solutions to sustainability issues and be comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. He/she will report into the WSGO group in the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Singapore office, and will support the management of the social responsibility activities for the company.
This position is a 6 months contract temporary position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Licensing
Support all licensee and B2B program agreements and social compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CSR Managers, business team, licensing team etc) to keep track and ensure valid and accurate informationSystem Project
Research and propose on alternative paper trails solutions for Traceability such as Blockchain etc.Social Risk Projects
Support external partners on research projects (Timber Risk and Country Risk)ESG Reporting
Support on ESG (Social) reporting framework research to comply with European regulation.Communication and Reporting:
Support creation of communication strategies to promote traceability initiatives internally and externally. Prepare regular reports on traceability progress and impact for management and stakeholders. Collaborate with the communication team to develop compelling stories that highlight the benefits and successes of traceability efforts.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in supply chain traceability, or sustainability. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or relevant traceability software.#LI-KW1
