Sustaining Engineer – Factory Automation , GES

Job Summary:

You will work as member of the global engineering service team and focus on factory automation segment on the non-NPD projects.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Responsible for Non-NPD projects: Generating additional turnover by developing customer specific variants based on existing platforms. Responsible for Cost Reduction Initiatives. Improving business result by reducing product cost. Compilation of a project list (EX120) and regular workshops. Responsible for supply chain resilience. Support the producibility by of the products by e.g. solving raw material shortage or discontinuation or special release for material deviations. Who You Are: You readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning. You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You encourage diverse thinking to promote and cultivate innovation.
  For This Role, You Will Need: Degree in engineering sciences, e.g. Mechanical engineering or comparable qualification 3 to 5 years' experience in customized project management and trouble shotting Familiar with popular computer applications like MS Office and ERP Familiar with CAD (ideally Croe) Fluent in English and Mandarin Working experience in Factory Automation Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Ability to work in a transnational team Attention to details Good communication and presentation skills Independent and solution-oriented working style Our Offer To You:
