Lockheed Martin Space, FBM Program, is seeking a Senior Electrical Component Engineer to join our team in Titusville/Cape Canaveral, FL
The Senior Component Engineer will play a critical role in sustaining the program and ensuring the success of integrated systems engineering initiatives. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Avionics Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Collaborate with the Navy Customer, to identify and manage risks, coordinate lifecycle activities, and ensure compliance with rigorous engineering standards. A self-motivated professional with a desire to learn and grow while contributing to the mission is ideal for this position. Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, degree in Science Technology Engineering Math discipline, or suitable knowledge and experience of a comparable level.
• Proven experience leading projects or teams in either a direct or indirect role.
• Strong initiative and ownership of complex tasks with a results-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance. US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated experience working with vendors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of circuit card and EEE Parts Material manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in the qualification of EEE (Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical) components and managing potential obsolescence.
• Project or program management expertise.
• Ability to ensure compliance with parts management plans and MIL-PRF requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of component selection, testing, analysis, reliability, and suitability processes.
• Active Secret Security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
