SVP, Booking Model Management – Process Control Sr. Lead Analyst (Hybrid)
**The Legal Entity & Booking Model Governance Team** Citi’s Legal Entity & Booking Model Governance (LE & BM) Team has responsibility to oversee and govern how Citi organizes and utilizes its legal entities across its global footprint. The LE & BM Team is comprised of the Legal Entity Governance and Booking Model Management teams. The Legal Entity Governance team manages and maintains information to support Citi’s regulatory and financial reporting as well as supporting fiduciary responsibilities related to the governance of legal entities; including processes, controls, data, and systems related to the lifecycle of all of Citi’s legal entities. To support Citi’s Recovery and Resolution Planning, the team ensures Citi maintains a resolvable and efficient legal entity structure through simplification and optimization efforts and coordinates a Virtual Data Room process which collects documents to support Citi’s resolution capabilities. The Booking Model Management team focuses on creating and monitoring Citi’s end-to-end booking practices while developing a global framework, standard, and governance across all products and Material Legal Entities (MLE). The framework requires that businesses follow the requirements of Citi’s Booking Model Policy for the design of their booking models and practices, validate that proposed booking practices comply with a set of principles, apply appropriate execution controls to ensure compliance by utilizing Citi’s governance framework for controls, monitoring, and escalation. **Job Functions and Responsibilities** This Senior Vice President (SVP) role within the LE & BM team is a highly strategic role that will contribute significantly to in-business booking model strategies and oversight of the end-to-end Global Booking Model Framework. This role will have extensive exposure to Citi’s businesses and stakeholders, partnering extensively with senior management across the business, cluster and legal entity, as well as with second line of defense and enterprise functions to provide decision support, governance, analytics, and optimization to drive best practices, processes and controls. Key responsibilities include: + Partnering with management and business lines in aggregating, synthesizing, monitoring, and advising on global booking practices, processes, and controls. + Leading the new activity approval process for certain business lines and clusters. + Coordinating the booking practices documentation process for select business lines and legal entities and carrying out review and challenge of the documents. + Monitoring the effectiveness and appropriateness of business booking model controls and continue to drive for improvement. + Participation in the governance process for certain Citi legal entities, including production, review, approval and presentation of booking updates to legal entity executive management. + Partnering with the Principle Coordinators to monitor effectiveness of booking model principles and continue to drive for improvement. + Support Citi and CBNA’s Recovery and Resolution documentation efforts to meet regulatory expectations by strategically partnering with other functions, accountable executives, and the central recovery and resolution team. + Supporting the team with data gathering, analytics and insight generation, to create high quality analytics for Booking Model, including booking pattern monitoring process and follow up with business for escalations. + Analyzing and driving booking optimization opportunities for the business lines. + Coordinating the annual booking practice activities database attestations with business lines. + Participate in LE & BM team transformation initiatives. + Participating in and contributing to the senior management forums and other committees. + Lead and support regulatory and other senior management engagement with respect to the Global Booking Model framework. + Support the Legal Entity & Booking Model Governance team and Global Controllers CAO on other processes or initiatives as needed. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or related field. + 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field in the Financial Services industry. + High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. + Strong analytical skills. + Knowledge of bank business lines and products, particularly in capital markets and wholesale products is beneficial. + Ability to influence and communicate effectively across functions, including written, verbal, active listening, and presentation skills. + Experience partnering with people and functions to drive the design and implementation of new or improved best practices and controls. + Ability to apply independent judgment to business practices, challenge the status quo, and develop improvements to existing processes and practices. + A self-starter with the ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently. + Experience creating and delivering concise and informative executive summaries for senior management . + Experience with process optimization and re-engineering or project management is beneficial. + Detail oriented with an ability to understand the strategic vision and direction for the “big picture”. + Experience working with various functions and businesses across multiple geographies. + Analytical, flexible, and team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills. + Possess strong attention to detail and with the ability to distill complex ideas into simple messages is important. ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Finance ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Process Control ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** New York New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $163,600.00 - $245,400.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
