About the Role:

Together with other members of the BaaS Leadership Team, the SVP, BaaS Business Development and Commercialization  will execute on the BaaS strategic plan — focusing on driving revenue growth through new business partnerships and expanding product diversity.  The SVP, BaaS Business Development and Commercialization will also be a key contributor in creating a strategic plan for boosting revenue streams through effective plans to generate leads, increase brand awareness and drive business development growth.

What You Will Do:

Partner with senior leadership to execute the BaaS strategic plan focused on revenue growth and diversifying the BaaS product set. Grow the Pathward brand in the payments marketplace through development of a BaaS Go to Market Strategy with a focus on a multichannel approach to grow issuing sponsorship opportunities. Develop a strategy for the BaaS Issuing, Acquiring and Digital Payments capabilities that leads to scalable and repeatable growth of these business units. Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of the company’s revenue-generating departments. Develop and improve as needed sales processes to improve time to revenue and generate transparency in the deal process. Manage the Business Development team to drive business growth across all customer segments, and share responsibility with the marketing department for improving strategy and customer experience. Lead the team to develop closing strategies for all major deals that involve an enterprise selling approach. Implement a true product roadmap prioritizing and delivering incremental feature functionality and new products that are aligned with the BaaS Strategy and market place opportunities Develop a scalable sales enablement process to ensure our business development and partner account team have resources need to grow revenue. Help maximize reach and efficiency by adding new, scalable partners in a strategic way. Build strong relationships with your peers within Pathward and lead your team in a manner consistent with Pathward values, building a high performing team focused on a culture of innovation. Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

Ten or more years in diverse leadership roles, driving and implementing revenue growth. Ten or more years experience in payments with familiarity of issuing, acquiring and money movement products. Strong C level connections within the Fintech space and an ability to interact with C level connections. Understanding of issuing, acquiring and money movement payments products including understanding the details of how the products work and the associated value chain. Proven track record of growing revenue through new-product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships. Understanding of the regulatory environment associated with being a payments sponsorship bank. History of being able to build and lead high performing sales teams. Demonstrated experience in leading and growing a team.  Superior people leadership skills. Ability to craft and execute a business strategy effectively. Experience in making decisions based on business metrics. Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach. Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment. Skilled at developing strong internal and external relationships. Strong technical experience with Salesforce and other business productivity tools.

Salary range: $174,955.77 – $288,677.00

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
