SVP, Marketing Data Platforms
**Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled MarTech Product lead to help drive and implement best in class marketing data platforms and tools that deliver against Citibank’s US Personal Banking and Wealth strategic vision of generating always on and personalized marketing offers. The individual in this role will inform, plan, and deliver on data & insights platforms within the MarTech space. The data lake, customer data platforms, tagging solutions & APIs will help drive acquisition and engagement of customers & prospects through unified customer profiles (integrating 1st/2nd/3rd party data sets), real-time activation of segments/events and omnichannel integration across the MarTech stack. The job requires a deep understanding of data landscape and MarTech architecture. This role is responsible for managing the platform lifecycle, supporting cross-functional data initiatives, and transforming the business through data. The product lead will work closely with stakeholders across marketing, analytics, risk, technology, product, and design teams to deliver data solutions that align with business objectives and enhance customer engagement. **Responsibilities:** + **Platform Ownership:** Oversee data and related MarTech tools, ensuring it meets business requirements, user needs, and performance expectations. + **Strategic Vision:** Develop and communicate a strategic roadmap for data platforms in alignment with organizational goals and evolving marketing strategies. + **Tech Development:** Steer the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the data platform, including data ingestion, data processing, data storage, data modeling, data access, data visualization, and data services. + **People Management:** Oversee a direct and indirect team responsible for defining and driving the data strategy and transformation in support of growth initiatives. + **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Partner with stakeholders from marketing, IT, and product teams to understand and fulfill digital content and experience needs. + **Project Management:** Collaborate with project teams to prioritize, plan, and execute key platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with platform capabilities and compliance standards. + **Optimization & Upgrades:** Manage ongoing platform optimization, including regular upgrades, feature enhancements, and content performance tuning to achieve a high-performing digital experience. + **Vendor Management:** Lead RFPs, evaluate/liaise with third-party vendors and support teams to ensure the efficient operation of the platform. + **Performance Monitoring:** Implement and manage tools to monitor/optimize for platform performance... + **User Support & Training:** Provide guidance and training for content authors, designers, and developers to maintain consistent quality and usability standards across digital content. + **Governance & Compliance** : Enforce governance policies around usage and permissions to ensure security, data privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations. **Qualifications** + **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years leading data management practice, implementation of large-scale data platforms, and API integrations. + **Technical Proficiency:** Experience with marketing technology architecture, backend systems, data dependencies, and front-end interfaces that are required to implement and execute digital marketing campaigns. + **Product Management Skills:** Customer-centric and tech-savvy product leader that has driven technical and operational teams to solutions that focus on delivering outstanding experiences supported by agile and efficient operational processes. + **Project Management Skills:** Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies; Act as a change management champion, educating the greater marketing organization on how to leverage new capabilities to drive their strategy. + **Platform Management Skills:** Track, measure, monitor and manage the performance, availability and usage of data platforms. + **Innovation:** Identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and trends in the data domain and recommend solutions that enhance the data platform capabilities and value + **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical skills for evaluating digital performance, user behaviors, and platform metrics. + **Soft Skills:** Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
