This is a hybrid position. The Sr. Vice President (SVP) of Business Operations will direct and oversee the strategy and continuity of messaging starting with Marketing and Communications, matured through the Business Development and Capture lifecycle, and ultimately articulated in our Proposals. You will design, implement and monitor effective strategies that align with our business goals. Our ideal candidate brings expertise in organizational growth and an in-depth understanding of how corporate functions interact to support streamlined operations and exceptional delivery in the Government Contracting industry. The SVP of Business Operations will report directly to the Chief of Business Operations and will provide direct oversight of the Marketing and Communications team. Additionally, the SVP will play a significant role shaping the company’s strategic planning as it relates to MarComm and organizing capabilities. Responsibilities: + Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to identify, lead and execute marketing and communications campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads + Collaborate with Growth, Capture, and Proposals organizations to ensure a comprehensive messaging strategy + Oversee the redesign of the company Intranet and a plan for content management for the Intranet and the external company website + Own the documentation of corporate capabilities as they evolve to ensure the presentation of our capabilities is maximized across all fronts + Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives + Set current and long-term goals for Marketing and Communications + Lead or monitor all marcomm campaigns and improve them when necessary + Prioritize marketing initiatives and projects and lead or allocate resources accordingly + Build long term relationships with employees, clients, government officials and stakeholders + Design and manage the Marketing department’s budget + Oversee development of corporate presentations Qualifications and Requirements + Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills + Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on our success + Critical thinker and problem-solving skills + Team player able to get along with a wide variety of individuals and groups + Great interpersonal and communication skills + At least 30 years of experience with senior level responsibility in Government contracting + Proficient in the technological landscape in order to leverage technology effectively as needed + Strong leadership skills + Excellent communications skills + Strong analytical and project management skills + Strategic mindset while being a hands-on contributor + Flexible and able to quickly adapt **Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy** The company is an equal opportunity employer.
