\n \n Job Description

The Senior Vice President of Sales will spearhead revenue generation efforts across North America, leading a diverse team of 35 external sales professionals, a dedicated inside sales unit, and a sales analytics function. This individual will implement and refine a robust sales process to drive sustainable growth in a complex, high-pressure environment characterized by a challenging lead generation landscape.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership capabilities coupled with hands-on sales expertise, leveraging their experience at a national scale to elevate performance and revenue across all channels. They must possess a high degree of personal resilience, political savvy, and executive presence, balanced by a personable, engaging, and collaborative style that fosters a positive work environment.

While community management industry experience is not required, hospitality experience is a plus, as it aligns with the company’s commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nSales Strategy & Leadership:\n\nDesign, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive sales process that drives revenue growth and market expansion.\nDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets.\nLead and mentor a national team of external sales professionals, an inside sales team, and sales analytics personnel.\nProvide hands-on support and leadership in critical sales engagements, especially within challenging or high-potential markets.\n\nCompensation Structures & Performance Management:\n\nCreate and implement scalable, motivating compensation structures that align with business objectives.\nEstablish performance metrics and continuously assess team performance, providing coaching and feedback to drive excellence.\n\nLead Generation & Pipeline Development:\n\nNavigate and thrive in a challenging lead generation environment, implementing innovative strategies to source, nurture, and convert prospects.\nCollaborate with marketing and other cross-functional teams to optimize lead generation efforts and improve conversion rates.\n\nSales Analytics & Reporting:\n\nUtilize Salesforce to monitor sales activities, track key metrics, and generate actionable insights.\nOversee the development of reports and dashboards to ensure data-driven decision-making.\n\nExecutive Presence & Collaboration:\n\nServe as a key member of the executive leadership team, collaborating effectively with Operations and other leaders to drive company-wide success.\nExhibit exceptional communication and presentation skills, building relationships across all levels and functions within the organization.\n\n\n Requirements\nExtensive sales leadership experience with a proven track record of success at a national scale.\nDemonstrated ability to develop and implement sales processes and compensation structures from the ground up.\nExperience managing large, geographically dispersed sales teams (35+ external professionals, inside sales, and analytics).\nSalesforce proficiency is required; familiarity with additional CRM tools is a plus.\nExperience in a challenging lead generation environment, with resilience and adaptability as critical strengths.\nStrong executive presence, political acumen, and interpersonal skills, complemented by a personable, collaborative leadership style.\nBackground in the hospitality industry is a plus, though not required.\n\n
