About the Group:
TRP Diagnostics and Prognostics – ALGOLiON group focus is developing and releasing the Earliest warning battery hazard detection and prevention software. The group uses ALGOLiON (formerly Israel-based battery software startup and today integral part of GM-Israel) novel algorithms which take data streams from battery management systems to identify anomalies in battery cell performance that may impact the performance of a battery pack or the safety of a vehicle.
About the role:
We are looking for a master’s degree student in Computer Science or related field who will join the team and:
Assist in developing Python scripts and tools for software validation and debugging.As part of the embedded software team perform various development tasks and projects.Participate in code, design and architecture reviews.What will you do:
Be part of a SW team that designs, develops, and maintains embedded SW implementation of the group’s complex and innovative algorithm and the required tools and infrastructure.Collaborate with other engineering teams in Israel and USA.Develop tools, utilities, and scripts to debug issues in SW and HW simulations and in actual vehicles.Participate in on going continuous improvement efforts.Additional Job DescriptionYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
M.Sc. student in Computer Science or related fields.Approximately two years or more left until the degree is completed.Available for three or more days each week.
