The Data Infrastructure and Applications (DNA) team is seeking a talented and motivated Software Development Manager. DNA products are big data based, leveraging a central data platform to collect, aggregate, govern, vend data for operations and simulation use.
Key job responsibilities
The SDM will be a great people manager, recruit, motivate, coach, reward and guide a team of Engineers to deliver new solutions at increasing scale across Amazon operations.
Keep your technical skills current to contribute to architecture and design discussions. Lead your team to evolve our service architecture with quality, robustness and sized scale as top priorities. You will regularly take part in deep-dive troubleshooting exercises and drive technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues.
Set a vision for your team and create product roadmaps. Help your team sort out technical and product requirements and priorities. Use project management skills to deliver product roadmap items and other cross-team projects.
