Emergency Care Business:

In late January, we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025.  

With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments. 

Your role:

Contributing as a DevOps expert in the deployment of cloud solutions to data centers in USA, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Japan, and beyondTaking ownership of and driving software updates, snapshots, backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring of complex web and database technologiesThoroughly understanding requirements, architecture, specifications, privacy, and security features to deploy robust and highly available cloud solutionsContributing to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelinesCommunicating status of deployments to stakeholders at various levels of the organization from Tier 3 Support Team to Senior Leadership TeamReviewing and partially creating technical, quality, legal, compliance and regulatory documents to ensure accuracy of content

This is a key business along with the continuum of care, and has a broad product and services portfolio of data management solutions, advanced life support solutions, and automated external defibrillators. You're the right fit if:

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience4+ years of experience working as a DevOps engineer or Software EngineerIn-depth understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems, installation, configuration, security, and firewallsStrong networking knowledgeExperience writing and maintaining CI/CD workflows (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions)Experience in one of more scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)Experience in deploying and maintaining infrastructure in Azure and/or AWSExperience with configuration management tools (Ansible, DSC, Helm)Experience with infrastructure automation (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep)Experience with microservices architectureKnowledge of Version Control Systems (git, TFVC)Desire to work as a member of a global team spread across various continentsLean mindset individual who seeks continuous improvement and waste reductionShipped software solutions to customers in the pastKeeps quality of software service or product at highest level to reduce corrective actions

Following experiences are nice to have but not mandatory

Medical devices or solutions knowledgeHighly regulated industry experienceAgile and traditional frameworks for software developmentC# and .NET development exposureFamiliarity with mobile application development (Android, iOS)Ability to understand and write source code using object-oriented programming techniquesProactive monitoring and identification of production system issues
