We are seeking an experienced reporter to cover the Nordic region's biggest economy and the Riksbank. We're looking for a high-energy news breaker and a skilled writer to produce news and enterprise on deadline.
Your job is to dig into the inner workings of Sweden's government and central bank, which has been cutting rates as the economy stagnates for a third year in a row. You will also set the agenda on the macro landscape, delivering news on a range of topics including a nebulous housing-market recovery, green investments gone sour and the impact of anti-crime policies on the nation's finance sector. As the latest NATO entrant, Sweden's defense sector will be an area of high interest after decades of underinvestment. Finally, you will develop a deep network of sources and produce scoops that will be required reading for traders, policymakers, business leaders and global consumers.
