**Job Title: Operator 1, Manufacturing**
**Job Description**
Join our assembly department as an Operator 1, Manufacturing, where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining processing and packaging equipment. This role involves weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials, as well as performing in-process sampling and testing. You will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures while maintaining equipment and cleanliness standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment.
+ Weigh, measure, and check raw materials with the assistance of a computer interface to ensure batches contain proper materials and quantities.
+ Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
+ Perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
+ Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.
+ Follow all safe practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and SOPs.
+ Maintain equipment and lab room to ensure proper operating conditions and cleanliness requirements.
+ Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
+ Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
+ Work on problems where analysis of the situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment.
+ Experience in weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials with the assistance of a computer interface.
+ Skills in calibrating and operating semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
+ Capability to perform in-process sampling and testing.
+ Knowledge of and compliance with company safety regulations and procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in assembly, packaging, manufacturing, and general labor.
+ Ability to follow safe practices and SOPs.
+ Experience in maintaining Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and SOPs.
+ Ability to maintain equipment and lab room cleanliness.
+ Judgment and decision-making skills within defined procedures and practices.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EUGENE, OR.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50
