**Title:** Swing Shift Alternate Lead, Composite Repa **Location:** United States-Oklahoma-Oklahoma City **Job Number:** 16766 **Position Overview** The Swing shift Composite Alternate Lead Mechanic steps in as a leader when the primary Lead is unavailable, ensuring all repairs, modifications, and tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. The role requires **FAA A&P certification** and a strong technical background in aviation maintenance. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Perform **hot and cold bond repairs** as per Aircraft SRMs, EAs, or other approved documentation. + Identify damaged components and select appropriate repair techniques and materials. + Conduct tasks such as sanding, trimming, priming, and fitting repairs to parts. + Follow repair sequences, complete necessary documentation, and observe safety protocols. + Maintain a clean work environment and ensure compliance with all safety procedures. + Record work hours and document all work accomplished daily. + Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisors. **Core Competencies** + **Leadership:** Acts as a technical resource and guides the team effectively. + **Financial Acumen:** Understands resource and cost management. + **Strategic Planning:** Identifies and implements efficient repair strategies. + **Safety Advocacy:** Ensures adherence to safety standards. + **Coaching & Mentoring:** Builds partnerships and fosters a collaborative work environment.
