Syndications Support Manager

Location: On site in Charlotte, NC.; Atlanta, GA.; Memphis, TN.; Metairie, LA.; or Irving, TX.

Summary: 

The Syndications Servicing Manager leads the Syndications Servicing Administrators for participations. This leader partners with Loan Closers and Line of Business leaders to fulfill syndicated facilities where the Bank serves as a participant. These facilities require individuals with strong business acumen, poise under pressure, impeccable customer service skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

The leader directs the team that manages the ongoing servicing of syndications originated in their assigned line of business. The leader builds relationships with agent banks and acts as a liaison between LOB's and agent banks to ensure clear and timely  communication and in a manner that reflects positively on the reputation of the Bank. The leader develops money management strategies, including managing all incoming and outgoing wires and ensuring that cash flows and wires adhere to internal policies and that settlement occurs timely and accurately. The leader ensures the proper application of all payments and maintains quality of all maintenance over the life of the loan, which includes advances, payments, fee computations, modifications, prepayment penalties and ultimately payoff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership and guidance of a team of professionals who service the Bank's largest loans.

Coaching team members to high performance and for maintaining strong professional relationship with LOB leaders and internal business partners.

Orchestration of the boarding of all syndication facilities, including but not limited to the commitments, collateral and guarantors, performing maintenance, calculations and adjustments on complex interest and fee accruals, verifying and funding all incoming funding requests from banks in a timely manner.

Knowledge:

Extensive understanding of syndication and participation ecosystem and concepts, i.e. pro rata shares, accruals  Strong knowledge of syndicated loan structures and credit documentation Understanding of processes such as takedowns, paydowns, sub-limits such as swing lines and Letters of Credit Knowledge of servicing account maintenance

Ability to make decision regarding operational and administrative risk as related to syndicated credits Impeccable customer service skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications Attention to detail and able to identify potential issues

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline required 3 to 5 years’ experience with administration of syndicated transactions including loan closing or servicing 3 to 5 years’ management experience MBA a plus Knowledge of ACBS loan system a plus

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with or without the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
