We are looking for a SysOps Engineer to focus on our {EverConnect / Marketing Technology}. Socius Marketing is a rapidly scaling marketing agency servicing the home improvement, home services, and health care industries. Our services span from website development to search engine optimization to search engine marketing. Our goal is to generate our clients as many leads as possible at the lowest cost per lead from a digital perspective.
Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud resources using infrastructure as code
Administer and troubleshoot modern cloud hosts and consumer-facing applications
Maintain and implement patch management processes to ensure that all systems remain current and are in adherence with industry standards, security protocols, and other compliance requirements
Monitor the health of multiple technology stacks to ensure high availability across services
Utilize industry best practices to identify, suggest, and implement areas of improvement in our systems and processes to ensure operational excellence
Coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones to deliver project outcomes
Maintain working knowledge of current software, trends, and practices related to your responsibilities
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
3+ of experience administering production hosts
2+ years of experience working with a range of AWS cloud services, including ECS, RDS, Lambda, Fargate, ALB, APIGateway, DocumentDB, VPC, etc.
2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code for AWS environments, preferably using Terraform & CDK-TF (Typescript)
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
Familiarity with modern web applications and technologies
Expertise in identifying root causes and solving complex problems
Experience adhering to and implementing security best practices for cloud infrastructure and modern application stacks
Nice to haves:
Experience managing multiple WordPress sites
Experience working with and deploying applications that use JS technologies (Vue/React/jQuery/Node.js)
Experience working with and deploying applications that use the .NET framework
Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 USD per/year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
