What you will be doing

As an Oracle System Administrator, you will be the primary custodian of the Oracle Planning system, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability. This role is central to the organization's success, involving continuous system monitoring, data integrity checks, and user support. You'll be the go-to expert for customizing and configuring the Oracle system to meet evolving business needs. With a focus on performance, compliance, and innovation, this role offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where your contributions directly impact the organization's efficiency and effectiveness.

The role further involves conducting capacity planning, integrating Oracle systems with other business applications, and managing backup and recovery processes. You'll work closely with PowerBI teams to refine reporting processes and ensure data availability. Providing off-hours support during critical periods and maintaining comprehensive system documentation are also key aspects of this role. This position not only offers a chance to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions but also provides a platform to drive continuous improvement and excellence in system administration.

The position will be based in Boise, ID, or one of our main regional offices/Distribution Centers.

Main responsibilities

System Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to ensure efficient operation. Data Integrity Management: Ensure data integrity and consistency through regular audits and validations. User Training and Support: Conduct training sessions to enhance user understanding and provide advanced support and troubleshooting. System Customization: Configure and customize the Blue Yonder system to meet specific business requirements. Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery processes to safeguard critical data. Reporting Management: Collaborate with PowerBI teams to enhance reporting capabilities and ensure data availability.

The salary range is $82,900 to $107,680.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications: Relevant certifications Relevant Experience: Experience in Planning, Supply Chain, or System Administration. Travel is not required.
