CANDIDATES MUST HAVE HPC EXPERIENCE 
We are looking for system administration support: Summary of functions: 
* Support system operations activity for RHEL, Windows, and GPFS. Managing backups and restoration of data from both system corruption issues and accidental user issues. 
* Support configuration of LSF and implementation of LSF policies. 
* Utilize Cluster Management Utilities to support job monitoring and reporting. Support development of reports to capture cluster and visualization node utilization. 
* Support troubleshooting and resolution of remote visualization performance. 
* Support integration of DDN Directmon utilities into system management. 
. Support the implementation of tuning of GPFS in the solution working with the DDN storage. 
* Support data input into problem management system(s). 
* Direct experience in HPC is needed and support in an Energy company would be a big plus. 
Day to day duties for his person is the following: 
* Configuring CMU for capture of seismic and reservoir simulation support data in support of system tuning and operations. 
* Configuration testing and tuning for RHEL and Windows for POC evolution testing. 
* Support for Windows configuration testing activities and potential benchmarks. 
* Integration of DDN utilities into system monitoring. 
. Support tuning and integration of GPFS with DDN storage. 
* Supporting and developing LSF policies for use and deployment. 
* Support installation and configuration of LSF utilities in support of IBM. 
* Reviewing GPFS configurations for support of backup and snapshots in support of NCSA.
