Job title: Systems Administrator Location: Camp Pendleton, CA Certifications: CompTIA Security+ Certification Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Job Description: The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of site-level system resources including server management, software compliance and delivery, and group policy. Leads problem resolution and process development efforts to minimize problem recurrence. This technical, operations-centered role is a critical member of the Information Management team. Assist with a wide range of IT support issues to include: + Performs daily monitoring of server systems; reviews system and application logs; verifies proper scheduling and completion of automated tasks + Installs, configures, and troubleshoots server hardware and virtual machines with associated operating systems and enterprise applications. + Responsible for ongoing streamlining efforts using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Microsoft Group Policy Management Console for all site level servers and end user devices. + Follows methodical change management procedures to ensure steady move towards completion of projects. + Develops and maintains system configuration documentation + Works cross-departmentally with managers of other teams including (end-user) Computer Technicians / Customer Support, Clinical Information Systems, Information Awareness, Web Development, Networking, and Database Administration, as well as working with a central network authority who works out-of-state and manages our site among multiple other sites + Provides input in planning/managing IT product and service development + Stay current with developments in new technologies and platforms + Plans, implements, directs, and monitors the integration of new technologies into the server and network environments as required + Assists with formulating performance management processes and measures + Performs other duties as directed Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related technical field; or equivalent education and work experience combination + Experience with Information Systems/Server/Software troubleshooting + Experience with Microsoft Windows Server platforms up to and including version 2012, 2016, and 2019 + Experience with VMWare or other hardware virtualization technologies + Knowledge of current and emerging technologies + Experience with Active Directory Administration and Group Policy Management + Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) + Networking knowledge including but not limited to: VLANS, DNS, DHCP + Experience with ServiceNow Helpdesk ticketing system + Project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and balance multiple projects + Solid oral and written communication skills *BEAT LLC IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER - DISABILITY AND VETERANS*
