System Administrator

Responsibilities

Administers, develops, runs tests, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.

Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.

Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, hardware and networking problems.

Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries.

Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts.

Assist with Information Assurances responsibilities by ensuring classified network assess requests are accurate, complete, and properly prepared.

Provides technical support for system users.

Performs work under general supervision.

Handles moderately complex issues/problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications

Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI Eligibility

Experience performing system administration to include but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, installing classified equipment, including monitors, printers, keyboards, card readers.

Knowledge of the Secure Messaging and Retrieval Tool (SMART) System

Strong knowledge in managing user accounts/objects within Microsoft Active Directory.

Experience in the creation and issuance of Public Key Infrastructure cards

Strong knowledge of Service Now

Pay Range

$100,000 - $110,000
