 ​The System Administrator provides network maintenance and management activities of the Armament Center DREN Network at Picatinny Arsenal. 

Responsibilities Ensure the infrastructure can support large data transfers, especially for research data sets, with minimal impact on network performance Provide tools and platforms for effective collaboration among the Armament Center, other DoD entities, and external partners Ensure collaborative tools are integrated seamlessly into the DREN Regular maintenance of enterprise hardware to include routers, switches, and servers Plan and execute hardware upgrades to meet evolving operational needs Plan for asset lifecycle management and replacement Manage user accounts and access rights Implement and oversee user authentication and authorization processes Ensure data encryption during transmission and storage Implement data loss prevention strategies Perform system-level configuration of products including determination of hardware, OS, and other platform specifications. Use software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnose complex problems and factors affecting network performance. Support a variety of SaaS offerings including productivity suites such as Microsoft Office 365 or Google G Suite; and Cloud storage such as Microsoft OneDrive or Google Cloud. Use the latest versions of the following: Microsoft Operating Systems; Microsoft Office; Microsoft Teams; .NET; MS SQL Server; MS Active Directory Administration.  Qualifications

Required:

​​Bachelor’s Degree in an IT discipline with 4 years of experience OR: ​Associates Degree in IT with demonstrated 6-8 years of experience in Service Desk support.  ​DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification. ​Proficient in the latest versions of the following: Microsoft Operating Systems; Microsoft Office; Microsoft Teams; .NET; MS SQL Server; MS Active Directory Administration.​  Company Overview
