Short Description:
Provide oversight of messaging/directory services (MDS) as provided by the IT Infrastructure vendor on behalf of the Commonwealth.
Complete Description:
MDS oversight and providing subject matter expertise - not a hands-on system administrator
• Negotiating conditions of satisfaction and commitments for individual customer MDS requests and ensure the IT infrastructure provider delivers against the commitment.
• Driving customer satisfaction via issue/problem resolution.
• Representing customer on special projects, work requests, or ad hoc requests (document management, service rollouts, etc.) measured by documented communication interaction and solution status and feedback.
• Providing guidance on services provided by vendor partners, having an understanding of supporting contracts, and working with contract managers as needed for contractual interpretation.
• Leverage the ITIL framework in the oversight of IT infrastructure services.
• Drive the development of new MDS services.
