**This position is not remote and will be required to be on-site at our New Haven, IN location**

Provide essential support for the organization's technology infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting computer issues, managing software installations and updates, and assisting with hardware setup and configuration. May also contribute to ongoing IT projects, performing data entry, documentation, and testing while also playing a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. This involves tasks such as configuring switches/cameras, monitoring network performance, and identifying/resolving network issues.

Responsibilities Help Desk: often the first point of contact for troubleshooting computer issues, resetting passwords, and answering basic tech questions.Software Support: may assist with software installations, updates, and configuration.Hardware Support: may help with setting up new computers, printers, and other equipment.Project Assistance: can be involved in ongoing IT projects, assisting with data entry, documentation, and testing.Network Design & Implementation: may help with designing, installing, and configuring network infrastructure, including switches, cameras, and other various equipment.Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: can assist with monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues.Documentation & Reporting: can help with documenting network configurations and generating reports. Qualifications

Required:

Completed/Enrolled in a relevant degree program: could be computer science, information technology, network engineering, or a related field.Technical skills: basic understanding of computer hardware and software, networking concepts, and operating systems.Problem-solving skills: ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues.Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.Familiarity with common operating systems: Windows, macOS, LinuxExperience with troubleshooting software and hardware issuesKnowledge of basic networking conceptsResides or planning to re-locate within driving distance of New Haven, IN

Previous relevent job experiencePersonal projects demonstrating technical skillsUnderstanding of networking protocolsFamiliarity with network devices
