System Administrator

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of the company’s computer systems. These systems include physical, virtual, cloud-based, and hybrid servers and applications. The role focuses on optimizing uptime, performance, resource allocation, and security to meet and exceed organizational needs. Additionally, the System Administrator proactively analyzes existing systems and provides recommendations for improvements.

Your Impact:

Incident Management and Coordination

Provide remote technical support for desktops and servers.

Prioritize immediate call resolution while maintaining high-quality customer service.

Document and maintain system administration procedures and policies.

Infrastructure Evaluation and Recommendations

Evaluate server and software components/projects for cost-effectiveness and competitive advantages.

Manage and document projects, including coordination with vendors.

Propose software upgrades and patches to enhance productivity and security.

Successful Candidate Will Have:

Experience: 5+ years in technology deployments, patching, systems support, and project planning.

Documentation: Strong documentation abilities

Willingness to Travel

Education: BS or MS degree in Computer Science/IT or related field

Knowledge in the following:

Microsoft Intune: Excellent knowledge.

Microsoft 365: In-depth experience.

Orchestration Tools: Familiarity.

Scripted Automation: Deploying software and systems.

Windows Autopilot:  Configuration and maintenance.

RMM Tools:  Familiarity. 

OneDrive and Azure AD: Strong support skills.

MDM Solutions (InTune/MAM): Deployment and management.

Microsoft AVD: Administration and maintenance.

Nerdio: Leveraging for AVD infrastructure.

Exchange Online: Maintenance.

Powershell: In-depth knowledge.

MECM/SCCM: Image creation, feature utilization, and reporting.

Endpoint Management and Security Platforms: Familiarity.

Exclaimer Cloud: Understanding.

Windows Server: Installation, configuration, and support.

Remote User Support: Windows 10/11 and mainstream Microsoft applications.

Networking Concepts: VPN, routing, ports, TCP/IP, network analysis tools.

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $90,000.00 - $120,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
